Q: I'm not sure if my town is in your service area. Can you still help?
A: Give us a call at (719) 773.9277 and we'll let you know. We're often able to accommodate homes just outside our listed areas.
Do you offer emergency or after hours service?
A: Yes. Next Gen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling offers after hours emergency service for plumbing, HVAC, and gas emergencies throughout Southern Colorado.
Serenity Club members receive after hours service with no additional after hours rate as part of their membership.
Q: Do you test water quality?
A: Yes. We test your water before recommending any filtration system, since the right setup depends on your specific water and plumbing.
Q: What filtration options do you offer?
A: We offer both whole home filtration, which treats water as it enters the house, and under sink filtration, which treats water at a specific tap, typically for drinking and cooking. Which one fits best depends on what you're trying to solve.

Q: Is hard water common in Southern Colorado?
A: Yes. Hard water is a normal characteristic of the water supply across most of our service area, not a sign that something's wrong with your home's plumbing.
Q: Do you offer free estimates?
A: Yes. Next Gen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling provides free estimates for plumbing, HVAC, and water filtration installs throughout Southern Colorado, so you know the cost upfront before any work begins.
Q: Do you repair or replace water heaters, including tankless models?
A: Yes. Next Gen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling handles water heater repair, replacement, tankless water heater installation, and maintenance and flushing services throughout Southern Colorado, including emergency water heater service when your system fails without warning.
Q: Do you install new septic systems, or only repair existing ones?
A: Both. We provide septic system installation and repair, along with drain field services, for homes and rural properties across Southern Colorado.
Q: What are the warning signs my septic system needs attention?
A: Common signs include slow-draining sinks or tubs, sewage odor around your home or yard, and soggy or standing water near the drain field. If you notice any of these, it's worth having your septic system inspected before a small issue turns into a full backup.
Q: Do you perform septic inspections, for example for a home sale?
A: Yes. We provide septic system inspections with detailed reports, including for real estate transactions like home sales.
Q: Do you provide home inspections for plumbing, gas, and HVAC systems?
A: Yes. Beyond septic inspections, we also provide home inspections covering plumbing, gas, and HVAC systems, complete with a detailed report — useful for home sales, home purchases, or just getting a clear picture of your home's systems.
Q: What should I do if I smell gas in my home?
A: If you smell gas, leave the house immediately, avoid using light switches, phones, or appliances inside, and call your gas utility or 911 from a safe location. Once it's safe, call Next Gen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for gas leak detection and gas line repair.
